Styrene for POP Displays
Stocked nationwide. Same-day shipping on stock. Custom slitting, sheeting, and cut-to-size.
Styrene for POP displays is the go-to economical rigid sheet for counter units, floor displays, header cards, and shelf talkers. K&R stocks print-grade high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) in gloss and matte across the light gauges display shops run, and ships it the same day on stock items from five distribution warehouses. It die-cuts, scores, and thermoforms cleanly, keeping per-piece cost low on high-volume retail runs.

Frequently asked questions
- Why choose styrene over PVC for POP displays?
- Styrene (HIPS) is the more economical rigid sheet, which matters on high-volume retail display runs. It scores, folds, die-cuts, and thermoforms easily, so display fabricators get clean parts with less tooling wear. The trade-off is durability — styrene is for indoor, short- to mid-cycle promotions, not outdoor use.
- What gauge styrene works best for counter and floor displays?
- For header cards and shelf signage, .015–.020 is common. Counter displays and standees usually run .030–.040 for rigidity, and floor-display structural panels step up to .060. Tell us the part and we'll recommend the gauge that holds shape without overspending.
- Can styrene be die-cut and thermoformed?
- Yes. HIPS styrene is one of the easiest rigid substrates to die-cut, steel-rule score, and vacuum-form, which is why it dominates POP display work. It folds cleanly along scores and forms over molds at low temperatures.
- How fast can you ship?
- Stock gauges and sheet sizes ship the same day from the nearest of our five warehouses. Custom cut-to-size and slit-to-width typically ship within a few business days.
